The first protagonists of the ‘CSI Radar’ begin to unveil the “hot topics” that will be addressed from June 12 to 16 at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Seville (FIBES) in a hybrid format, with two face-to-face and three virtual days, which will bring together the main institutions and companies in the cybersecurity sector.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Eviden, on a secure journey to the cloud

AWS is one of the companies that have confirmed their presence in this first edition of the ‘CSI Radar’. Jesús Rodríguez, Cyber Security Sales Specialist at AWS Iberia, will be in charge of talking about the importance of security in the cloud. Together with him, in a joint panel, Atos will participate through Eviden, its leading business line in digitization, cloud, big data and security.

For more than 15 years, AWS has been the world’s most comprehensive and widely adopted cloud offering. It offers more than 200 comprehensive services from its global infrastructure. On the security side, AWS supports 143 security standards and compliance certifications, which help meet compliance requirements for virtually every regulatory agency in the world. In Spain, AWS has the High Level Security Scheme. This is backed by a comprehensive set of cloud security tools, with more than 300 security and compliance services and functionalities.

Eviden will be represented by Arancha Jiménez Martínez, Head of Cybersecurity, Services and Products, who will provide the company’s vision. For them, “the move to the cloud is an opportunity for organizations, but it implies a new threat scenario that must be properly managed”. To do this, security measures native to cloud environments must be combined with additional security services that allow the definition of a reliable security architecture, not just the implementation of default measures.

“It is the customer’s responsibility to manage these environments in a secure manner, guaranteeing the confidentiality, availability and integrity of the data,” says Jiménez Martínez.

Telefónica Tech, in the showcase of the ‘CSI Radar’.

Telefónica Tech will participate in the opening day of the event through one of its most valued executives, María Jesús Almazor, current CEO of Cyber&Cloud of the company. Telefónica Tech leads the technology services market in the B2B segment, positioning itself as one of the most relevant players in new generation IT services, both in Europe and Latin America.

CSI Radar‘ was created with the aim of giving visibility to all leading companies and multinationals, as well as universities, institutions, manufacturers and experts who are working to improve cybersecurity in companies and public administrations in Spain and around the world.
